Who Am I?

I've been fascinated by financial markets since I was a kid. What started as simple curiosity quickly grew into a dedication to truly understand and eventually master the complexities of trading. I've been actively trading for about three to four years now, and just like many others, I began with almost no knowledge. Only the question of what actually works and what's just noise. Here I want to share what I found to be genuinely adding value. I want to share the insights, principles, and approaches that have proven effective in my own trading journey.

My Story

I was introduced to trading through crypto. I was under 18 and already eager to invest my savings, but since I couldn’t legally open a traditional investment account, crypto felt like the most accessible starting point. The simple structure of Bitcoin cycles shifted my mindset from passive investing to actively managing and timing my positions. From there, I explored different markets. I briefly looked into forex, but the space felt far too filled with scams. Then I discovered futures. The price action in indices was far more stable than in crypto, the brokers were more regulated compared to typical CFD providers, and overall, I preferred the structure, liquidity, and professionalism of the futures market. At that time, I started trading ICT concepts. Strategies like the Silver Bullet or the Judas Swing were extremely popular, so of course I wanted to try them. It didn’t take long before I realized these methods couldn’t work consistently. I later confirmed this by coding and testing them myself. I spent countless hours in front of the screens analyzing charts with ICT-style levels, and I even passed my first prop firm evaluation using that approach. But very quickly, I noticed that the only real edge I had came from my own discretion. The final step toward my current approach was moving away from relying solely on candlesticks and marking liquidity pools or fair value gaps, and instead defining my setups through order flow. That's when I finally recognized what I had been doing all along: applying a rebranded form of Auction Market Theory.
